Steve has been in the industry for over 20 years. Today he is an author, screenwriter and format developer. He has two films in development in Germany, a number of formats in development around the world, and has two books in print.

His background at MTV is well documented. For MTV Europe he presented both live, pre-recorded and location shows. He was also News Editor, with a large news department which would cover stories from Iceland to Israel, from the North of Norway to Turkey and everywhere in between. During his time at MTV he interviewed all major pop stars from Madonna to McCartney, from Elton John to Stevie Wonder. As the main on-air presenter spearheading MTV's pro-social campaigns he interviewed world leaders and religious figures for MTV. Gorbachev, Delors, Peres, and even the Dalai Lama would be asked by him to comment on the issues of the day. His other MTV shows include Take the Blame, a cult chat show co-hosted by Leigh Bowery, Australia's late cultural icon. After leaving MTV the former Maths and Physics graduate took up residence in Germany where he set up Viva 2. Under his direction the channel won the Gold Art Director's Award for its on-air design. Blame also launched youth channel Tango TV in Luxembourg, produced This Song's For You, a music documentary for arte. He makes regular appearances on German TV. Along with Stefan Grebe, his 2STV/Eyeworks co-developed format Where is the Money? was a 2005 Rose d'Or nominee and ran in Holland and Spain. He is fluent in English and German and has a Masters Degree in Screenwriting. His first book Getting Lost is Part of the Journey was released by Bastei-Luebbe, a major publisher in Germany, in 2010. Zwischen Rotwein ... was release by Gonzo Publisher in 2013.
